We collect information that you provide directly to us, including when you create an account, join a society, create visitor passes, or communicate through the app. This includes your name, email address, phone number, unit information, and visitor data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, send notifications, and ensure the security of your community. Your data is used exclusively for the purpose of society management and communication.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including end-to-end encryption for communications, secure Firebase infrastructure, role-based access control, and regular security audits. Your data is stored in India in compliance with local data protection regulations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared within your society context as needed for the platform to function (e.g., visitor information with security guards, maintenance dues with admin).

5. AI Assistant (Vigy)

Our AI assistant Vigy processes your queries in context of your society data to provide relevant answers. Conversations with Vigy are processed by Google Gemini API and are subject to Google's AI terms of service. We do not use your conversation data to train AI models.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your data or request account deletion through the app settings or by contacting us at privacy@gateflow.in.
